Thanksgiving at the Beach
We went to the Jekyll Island for the week of Thanksgiving with Will's family. We stayed the entire week. It was a nice break. The weather was a little too chilly for sitting on the beach, but we took lots of walks. Wylie enjoyed his first Thanksgiving dinner there. He definitely feasted! He's still eating anything you put in front of him. He's been moving around on his own for awhile now and pulling up on things. He figured out how to go up the step to our kitchen awhile back too, but after we got home from our trip he mastered going down the step which looks hilarious. He's starting to do a little wave with his whole arm which is pretty funny too. He's definitely making us laugh.

Fun Little Duck
Will and I had way too much fun on Halloween afternoon taking Wylie around to "Trick or Treat". It was more like visiting since he's not into candy yet. His duck outfit was perfect. He's crawling all over the place now and the outfit had a little white tail on the backside. It was really funny to see it wiggle when he crawled.
The other cute boys in the picture with Wylie are our neighbors. They love him and they are precious as well.

OH So Cheesy!
Here's a little update on what Wylie is doing these days:
Since my last post, Wylie has mastered sitting up. He can sit up for however long he wants to now. Most of the time this is until he sees a toy, or tag or water bottle that he wants to get to. Then he gets on his belly and rolls over to it or does a little commando crawl. His reflux is much better so he isn't so opposed to being on his stomach.
He likes some of his toys, mainly books, but more than that he likes the tags on anything. He prefers to play with tags, cups and water bottles more than actual toys.
He now has two bottom teeth that shine when he smiles. He has this new cheesy grin that makes me laugh.
He still loves to be outside so we take multiple walks in the yard each day.
He loves Cheerios and has starting picking them up on his own to feed himself. Sometimes he still misses his mouth! Entertaining.
He'll be 7 months old on Friday. Time is certainly flying by.

Wiggly Wylie
I knew that he "talked" a lot but I didn't really realize how much until going to church several days in a row during revival. Apparently he didn't get the baby memo that you're supposed to sleep during church and let people hold you. He went to sleep one time for maybe 30 minutes. Other than that he talk to whoever was holding him, sang with whoever was singing, and I think did a little preaching too. He makes noises non-stop! Although the noises are very cute, he's a little loud.
Wylie's attribute that has always stood out has really changed...his hair! It is no longer the very dark brown that it was at birth. It's now very light and pretty much blonde. A good bit fell out on the top and sides of his head, but none in the front or back fell out. I couldn't stand the comb over any longer and I have trimmed it twice in the past month.
Wylie has no interest at all in being on his belly to play. He wants to be up where he can see everything. He is trying so hard to sit up and almost has it mastered. He can sit for a couple of minutes alone before toppling over on his face. Anytime he is laying down he is craning his neck to try to sit up. I've heard that they all do thing differently, so I guess this is his start to moving around on his own. Here are some pictures of him with his new trick. (I put the Boppy pillow around him when I take pictures so if he falls over he'll have a little cushion.)
